2007 Grough-Stuff Xmas Walk

On Saturday December 8th at 10.00am, I shall be leading a short (Easy/Moderate) circular walk from Hathersage Railway Station which I intend to finish in The Little John Inn where, space permitting, we can settle down to order some good food and good ale!

For those wanting the full festive fare, I believe the Christmas Menu is priced at £15 per person. As usual, the regular menu is also available and very reasonably priced. From personal experience, I can heartily recommend the food at The Little John (or LJ's, as it is now 'more trendily' known).

Open to all, this walk is 'FREE' and is intended as a 'Xmas thank you' to all my old clients, a 'Nice to meet you' to any potential new clients and a ' Oh No! Not you lot again!' to any Transpeakers (Only Joking :-)
It's also a damn good excuse to have a beer or two with friends, both old & new :-)

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of my friends and clients for your support over the past 6 months and to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy & healthy New Year.

Remember, we're entering the Winter months, so please come dressed in suitable clothing for possible wet & cold weather conditions. You may want to consider bringing a change of clothes for going into the pub after the walk has finished.

To get maximum enjoyment from the day, why not travel by public transport? The walk starts at Hathersage Railway Station which is on the main Manchester to Sheffield line. Leave the car at home and enjoy a xmas drink (or two)!
