Many people have requested that I put on walks that are 'open to all' so that they can meet other people, make new friends, etc, whilst enjoying a pleasant day out in the Peak District.

Not wanting to disappoint, I have set aside the following dates for such walks to take place:-

A regular series of guided walks covering the four geographical points of the compass (North; East; West; South) in The Peak District National Park.

Hayfield Car Park (Bus Stn) SK 035 869. Start 10.00am

'Pesky Wabbit' Hunt

Ok, they're not really rabbits, but the elusive Mountain Hare. Hunting with cameras or binoculars and not guns, by the way!

Hayfield - Tunstead Clough Fm - Kinder Low End - 3 Knolls - Redbrook - Kinder Downfall - Kinder Gates - Fairbrook Naze - Boxing Gloves - 624 Trig - Mermaid Pool - Kinder Reservoir - White Brow - Snake Path.

11 miles / 6 hours / Strenuous

*Note - Due to daylight constraints and the unpredicability of the Peak District weather, I reserve the right to alter the route accordingly.

It's Dove Dale....need I say more!!!

Ilam Hall - Izaak Walton Hotel - Stepping Stones - Dove Dale - Mill Dale - Stanshope - Castern Hall - River Dove.

The price of attending one of my Public Group Walks is only £5 per head.

Note - A minimum number of 8 people are required for the walk to go ahead. Less than 8 may result in the walk being cancelled. If this occurs, I will endeavor to contact all registered walkers to inform them of the situation. Notice will be given on this website also, so please keep visiting the site for the most up to date information.

NOTE - I have used a certain amount of artistic license when choosing a particular walk to go with a particular 'compass point' category! For example: You can argue all day that Kinder Scout should be classed as a West walk rather than a North walk. Please don't lose any sleep over it!
